Hi,

Please have a look at the website www.photography-collection.com. We have translated the Wordpress Theme Genesis and the Child Theme Metro using Poedit English > German and uploaded the .po- and .mo-files. Unfortunately we cannot see the translated strings on the website and in the backend. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks

Just uploading new .mo files doesn't activate them - did you select the new language you've added? The process for doing that is different between WordPress v4.0 and v3.9.2 or earlier - on the older version, you need to edit a configuration file manually to set language (replace 'define ('WPLANG', '');' with 'define ('WPLANG', 'de');'; if you're on v4 you can do it through the web interface (Settings, General, Site Language).
