I'm a Chinese to English translator specializing in the social sciences, culture, labor relations and human rights. I have more than 15 years' experience translating for magazines, academic journals and NGOs in Taiwan, Hong Kong and the United States. Taiwan Panorama and the Council for Cultural Affairs in Taipei, Human Rights in China in New York, China Labour Bulletin in Hong Kong and the Macau Ricci Institute in Macao have published more than 200 of my translations. My academic qualifications are a BA in Chinese studies from Leeds University in the UK and two MAs in Chinese history from Michigan and Harvard universities in the USA. I also spent six years studying and working in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
I also translate sinological texts from German, French and Spanish.
