I believe 杂性 is better, bec. promiscuous chemokine receptor means the receptor can indiscriminately bind with any chemokine. In Chinese, 滥交 is used for 'promiscuous plasmid' but I feel 滥交 is a little bit vulgar so I chose 杂性. 泛宿主性 on the other hand has another direct English translation which is multi-host w/c I think is more suitable for host-parasite relationship.
I also got “泛宿主性” for “promiscuous” at http://jpck.zju.edu.cn/ywfxjpkc/lwsj/04/chenli.pdf : “PXR is a promiscuous receptor” --- “PXR是个泛宿主性的受体”. Could you please tell me which term is better? Thank you!
