If this refers directly to the funds industry, I would translate "intermediary" as "Wertpapierhändler". I like Mr. Liepert´s suggestion of "Klientel", it is a good solution. Another option would be to just omit "clients". This would be a more idiomatic solution and would work if it is obvious from the context of the document that these are a client segment of the bank.
