German德语至English英语翻译 [专业]
Social Sciences - 历史 / Geschichte der DDR | | German德语词条或短语： überhöht | | "Die Wochenschau stellt den Aufbau in der SBZ aesthestisch ueberhoeht dar" ist die Textstelle. Ich weiss zwar, was ueberhoeht bedeutet, kann aber in keinem Woerterbuch eine adaequate Uebersetzung finden. Kann mir jemand helfen? |

Daniela Gieseler-Higgs: 15:49 Aug 10, 2007: Answer to notes: - It is a scientific text about the build-up of socialism and the media in the GDR. I have no idea who will be reading it or hearing it as a talk, but it is obviously for scientific purposes and for historians to read. The "Aufbau" means the build-up of the state, the GDR, in the early post-war years. "Ueberhoeht" means present something as better/more worthy than it actually is, "transfigured", in a sense of ideological veneration. I know what it means, I just think it's very hard to find other words for it.

I think "aesthetically inflated" or "excessively aesthetic" could also work if you want to stick close to the source |
