Johanna Timm, PhD: 19:33 Dec 6, 2005: Es gibt die Redewendung: "etwas ist nicht meine Baustelle"(s.Dereks Antwort)
und den Ausdruck: "das fällt nicht in meinen Bereich/ da kenne ich mich nicht aus". Es kommt also darauf an, was hier gemeint ist oder gesagt werden soll. Mehr Kontext? -

not my line of country
说明:
One option - but it depends on context (this would probably sound strange if the speaker is young, for example).

According to the metapher, you might have a construction firm, but do not work at that particular construction place. Or, you are a mathematician, but not working in that specilized field.

It doesn't mean exactly the same thing, but it may work nonetheless.

中性态度 NiamhC: This would be "not (reallly) up my street" in UK English. Alternatively: This is not my cup of tea. Both mean it's not your area of interest (rather than expertise).

同意 Johanna Timm, PhD: This is the meaning of the German idiom: "nicht meine Baustelle'( just google it): 'to be into sth.' www.triggerfish.de//ox/home. cfm?p=3336&rid=32252&,

Baustelle;
none of my business

说明:
I don't know the context of this statement and therefore would stick with "that's none of my business" ...

说明:
Slight variation on Johanna's comment on Derek's answer. If context is hazy this combines meaning of interest and expertise.

Baustelle;
It's not my bag

说明:
If this really does mean "not being in to something", this would be a possibility, at least in British English.

Otherwise, it's not my cup of tea or it's none of my business were my first thoughts (I wasn't sure which of the two this idiom actually refers too).
