Lori Dendy-Molz: 12:45 Mar 26, 2007: Afraid not, Steffen. The company makes the linings and not the machines. I think I'll have to query the customer as the word appears to be their own invention. I'll let you know what I find out.
Steffen Walter: 13:13 Mar 26, 2007: A pity, really. The only bit springing to mind is "discharge (of material)" for the "Austrag" part.
Lori Dendy-Molz: 17:20 Mar 27, 2007: Thanks Steffen and Isabell. The customer says they call these 'pulp lifters'. Go figure. Actually, I had considered 'discharge hopper guide,' so Isabell's suggestion was very close to what I was thinking. I also got to see a drawing of the thing but don't know how to post it for others to see. I still wouldn't have come up with 'pulp lifter' on my own. Thanks again.
