It's a goat talking about its body and appearance in a children's booklet:

"L’odore “forte” (**ircino**) della mia pelle è dovuto alle ghiandole che sono sparse sulla mia
pelle"

Now it should come from the Latin "Hircinus" and refer to goats but as for English, any idea what this translates as? I'm honestly baffled....

In inghilterra si usa dire "musty" anche se non lega niente con caprino comunque ho trovato questo:
Different breeds have different ranges of odor, Pygmy goats and dairy breeds seem to be the most odoriferous. The Angora the least- and the pygora less then the dairy breeds and more than the angoras. Each buck seems to have his own smell. Some sweet- some musty. During rut they all pee on their faces and behind the front legs and by the end of rut season are sticky and black (and varying amounts depending on the goat)
