Notes to the Financial Statements (Spain)

I know that it's usually depreciation for tangible assets and amortisation for intangible assets. In the following sentence, it's referring to "intangible assets" so should "amortizaciones" and "depreciación" both be translated as "amortisation" in this sentence? It just seems a bit strange to have "amortisation due to wear and tear". I would have though this would usually be in the context of depreciation.

Many thanks in advance for your clarification.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Patinaba, I just realised that I posted the wrong section of context above. It should say "inmovilizados intangigles" and not "inmovilizados materiales". Sorry about that!

Asker: I meant "intangibles", not "intangigles"!

Asker: Thanks for your additional note, which I've just seen.
