As a journalist I have 20 years' experience working on UK publications and websites and I am currently Italian correspondent for the international classical music magazine Gramophone.
I bring a writer's eye to translations to produce a text that sounds as if it was written in English rather than translated.
Specialising in music of all types, architecture, literature and the arts, I will also consider any translation from Italian to English. Areas of interest and experience include travel and tourism, wildlife and nature, engineering, transport, motor sport, industrial archaeology, etc.
Recent projects include a DVD inlay for pianist Andrea Bacchetti's recording of J S Bach's Goldberg Variations. I have also done several translations for Rome-based architect Antonino Cardillo as well as editing a number of his articles for publication.
I have worked for many other clients including Cameo foods, Riva yachts, Telecom Italia Mobile, Voltaren pharmaceuticals and the Genoa Aquarium.
I work to the highest standards and deliver jobs on time.
My journalism experience is in news and features, interviews and reviews. I have also worked as a copywriter, sub-editor, proof-reader and copy editor of technical books. I have worked for The Daily Telegraph, BBC, Classic FM, Virgin, IPC magazines, Haymarket, The National Gallery, London and many others.
