KudoZ is a structured network used by translators to collaborate on terms. The most helpful answerers amass points that call attention to their areas of expertise. More than one million translations having been delivered via KudoZ. The archives can be browsed or searched, as can external terminology resources.
A KudoZ 'transaction' involves three steps:
(1) A person in need of translation assistance posts a term or phrase, providing context and the desired target language.

(2) Site members suggest a translation, optionally providing explanations and references.
(3) The asker reviews the suggestions and awards 1 to 4 points to the member who provided the translation deemed to be the most useful or the most accurate.
FYI KudoZ Rules
1.1 - All features of the the KudoZ system (asking, answering, peer comments and "asking the asker") are to be to be used for terms help only. Making announcements, using the forms for purposes different from their intended ones, or otherwise misusing the KudoZ platform is prohibited.
2.2 - Texts posted as KudoZ questions should be no longer than 10 words or so. Longer texts should be posted as jobs. (Jobs > Post a Job)
4.5 - Avoid answering in language pairs in which you are not capable, and in fields in which you are not knowledgeable.
