Jhumpa Lahiri's memoir In Other Words Mar 29, 2017

I would recommend that anyone interested in translation, writing, or learning a language read Lahiri's memoir In Other Words. She wrote it in Italian and Ann Goldstien translated it (there's a whole chapter explaining why she can't translate her own work). It's a beautiful book, with the original Italian on the left-hand side and the English on the right. A linguist's dream memoir!
