The American University in Dubai launches center for Arabic studies

The American University in Dubai (AUD) on Saturday announced the launch of a Center for Arabic Studies and Translation at Mohammed Bin Rashid School For Communication (MBRSC).

The launch of the center is in line with recent initiatives by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to preserve the Arabic language while raising its level and marking the UAE as the center of excellence in the Arabic language.

The mission of the Center for Arabic Studies and Translation at MBRSC is to build a cultural bridge between languages, and to promote communication among civilizations through preparing and qualifying human resources that will be able to transform the initiatives and aspirations of the wise leadership of the UAE into reality.
