Description
It is a fundamental principle of law that for every wrong (the violation of a right) there is a remedy. A wrong is committed when a right is violated; it may be committed by the denial of a right or by refusal to perform an obligation that is considered a right. This is particularly set in relation to all kinds of contracts as, even a verbal contract, creates duties for the parties thereof. We will see the different types of contracts and their particular features and applicability to daily situations.
Example:
On January 10 1992, an automobile in the city of Columbus, Ohio, struck Sam Bufort. On January 20, 1994, Sam commenced an action in an Ohio court to recover damages for bodily injury. Sam could not succeed in his lawsuit because in Ohio an action for bodily injury must be commenced within 2 years from the date of injury.
After going through the specific terminology applicable to different kinds of contracts we will apply them to solve real situations.
