Possible simbiosis of two CafeTran versions (the licensed and free one)?

Dear forum members,

I would like to test new features of a new (free) CafeTran version.

The earlier CafeTran version is already installed on my computer and I would like to preserve it.

Is such "double" installation possible or would the new (free) version overwrite the old (paid) one?

Hi,

It is possible to install the new trial version provided that your licensed one was purchased before 22 April in the previous licensing system. If it was purchased after that date, you can just update to the latest version.

Dear Igor,

Thank you so much for taking your night and rest time to answer my (not so urgent) questions.

My version was purchased in 2012 and updated in 2014 so I think this should be fine.

Is there a special install procedure for the new install - i.e. "manual" directory change?

Hi again,

If you are going to install the new trial version alongside the older version (released before April 22), just install it in another directory.

Thank you so much for your valued feedback.

I did as suggested and the installation was successful.

Now I am going to try the features of the new version
and be able to use the old version for work.
