I was just wondering if one could run a search for segments/headers/words within files(not open) with the help of a tool by scanning specific regions of the computer where there is a probability of the target being there. Is there anything available for this? I know Trados does something on these lines. I was looking out for some stand alone applications. I know it sounds a little absurd asking this..but then I thought, who knows what...... Thank you Nils for taking so much effort. I am surely going to try that.. though, to start with I think I should be downloading Google Desktop if that is really going to give me the 'in'sights. Thanks so much Marina and Lori. | | | Umang Dholabhai India Local time: 19:22 English to Gujarati + ... TOPIC STARTER Google desktop | Mar 13, 2009 |
