Bio
Specialisation: book translations (fiction and non-fiction) and long-form journalism. General topics, with a particular affinity for technology.

As an English-language editor and journalist by profession (and author of several books), I have 40 years of fluency in Dutch as a second language. After 20 years and thousands of jobs in the deadline-driven cut-and-thrust of commercial translations, I now paddle in calmer and more contemplative waters, with an emphasis on longer-form, longer-deadline work -- in particular, complete books (and e-books).

Long-form editing and proofreading projects may also be considered.
