Bio

I
specialized on interpreting in psychotherapeutic and counselling
sessions with refugees (DE-RU) while I was working as a social worker
and project manager in NGOs and public administration in Germany. I got
certified as a translator and interpreter for Russian by the State of
Saxony (Germany) in 2015/2016. Recently,
I relocated from Berlin to Barcelona and am currently completing my
doctorate in Translation and Intercultural Studies at the Universitat
Autònoma de Barcelona. The language of my dissertation is Spanish and
its main focus is on interpreting in asylum procedures.

Due
to my previous work I am familiar with and able to translate materials
in the following fields: refugee law, NGO project management, public
subsidies and administrative procedures as well as psychotherapy,
especially in the field of trauma and refugee mental health.

I
also offer proofreading and editing of CVs and motivation letters for
job applications in Germany as well as academic papers in the
humanities.
