I’m a classroom and special needs teacher from Finland (the country with the highest-rated education system in the world according to the Pisa studies), with Swedish as my mother tongue. I have an MA in Education (performed in Swedish), I´m a certified CBT practitioner and former professional musician.

As a teacher, mentor, therapist and nurse I have helped numerous people of different ages with developing their linguistic expression, reading and writing skills, storytelling, corrections and proofreading. Additionally, I have authored, translated and produced a number of manuals, leaflets and articles within the fields of education, health care, psychology and social science. These materials have been published and used within the public school system, vocational and polytechnic institutes and also in residential care homes. I’ve also published scientific and political articles in Swedish in leading local newspapers.

I’m still new as a freelance translator and I look forward to varied work translating from Finnish and English sources into Swedish, mainly within the following fields:
Education, Psychology, Social science, Travel and Correspondence and Arts (music).
