Hello!

My name is Vladimir. I am an English to Russian video games translator and proofreader localizing games since 2007 and playing them since early 1990s. I have worked both on AAA titles for industry heavyweights like Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Blizzard and on small original games for indie studios. During my career I have localized games of all possible genres, from casual to role-playing, and for all main platforms, ranging from browser and iOS games to PC and Xbox 360.

In my work I strive for creative, literary approach to translation and extensive clients' support regardless the title or budget. I use a range of CAT and QA tools even for smallest projects in order to maintain top-notch quality and consistency of translation. Besides translation and proofreading I also have a large experience as a localization team-lead with all related responsibilities: testing, evaluating and recruiting new translators into team, preparing style guides and glossaries for new project, managing TMs, handling translation queries, communication with developers and many more.
