Source text - Spanish La clasificación de este cáncer (FIGO o TNM) antes de la intervención quirúrgica, lo mismo que ocurre en otras localizaciones, a pesar de que las técnicas de imagen han tenido una gran evolución y las clasificaciones de los tumores no se han actualizado sigue siendo la colposcopia, biopsia, cistoscopia y/o proctosigmoidoscopia. Pero nos proporciona una información crucial el uso del TAC, RM y/o PET (5) así como el estadiaje quirúrgico para la toma de decisiones en la terapéutica de nuestras pacientes (6). El estadiaje quirúrgico, tanto una disección extraperitoneal como una disección ganglionar por laparoscopia puede ser una opción. TRATAMIENTO La terapéutica viene determinada por el estadio según la FIGO o TNM. ESTADIO IA1 o T1a1N0M0. La histerectomía extrafascial es la cirugía recomendada. En estos casos, a veces cuando aparece invasión linfovascular se realiza una histerectomía radical modificada con linfadenectomía. En los casos en que existe contraindicación médica para una cirugía o incluso por preservar la fertilidad tras una conización y cuando los márgenes son negativos se puede considerar la observación (7). ESTADIO IA2 0 T1a2N0M0. Se trata con histerectomía radical con linfadenectomía pélvica con o sin toma de muestras de los ganglios paraórticos. La radioterapia pélvica con braquiterapia es otra opción terapéutica ( punto A 75-80 Gy) . Estas dosis son las recomendadas tras la suma de la irradiación externa y la dosis equivalente con braquiterapia de Baja Tasa de dosis. En la actualidad se ha extendido el uso de braquiterapia de Alta tasa de dosis y en estos casos se modifica la dosis en función del cálculo del equivalente biológico y la tolerancia de los órganos de riesgo	Translation - English The pre-operative classification of this cancer (FIGO or TNM), as for other locations, despite the great progress in imaging techniques without changes in tumour classification, is still carried out through: colposcopy, biopsy, cystoscopy and/or proctosigmoidoscopy. However, the use of CAT, MRI and/or PET scans (5), as well as surgical staging, provide crucial information to make decisions concerning our patients’ treatments (6). The combination of surgical staging, extraperitoneal dissection and lymph node dissection via laparoscopy may be a good option. TREATMENT Therapy will be determined by the stage of the cancer according with the FIGO or TNM classification. STAGE IA1 or T1a1N0M0. Extrafascial hysterectomy is advised. In these cases, sometimes when there is lymphovascular invasion, a modified radical hysterectomy with lymphadenectomy is performed. In cases where surgery is not medically advised, or in order to preserve fertility after conization, and when margins are negative, we may consider observation (7). STAGE IA2 0r T1a2N0M0. Treatment consists of radical hysterectomy with pelvic lymphadenectomy, with our without para-aortic lymph node sampling. Pelvic radiotherapy with brachytherapy is another treatment option (point A: 75-80 Gy). These are the recommended doses based on the summation of external beam radiation therapy plus the equivalent dose with low-dose rate brachytherapy. Currently, the use of high-dose rate brachytherapy is more widespread, so in these cases we must modify doses based on the calculation of the biologic equivalent dose and the tolerance of any organs at risk.

These safety tips will help you understand what to do when you are taking oral chemotherapy. How to take this drug Swallow each tablet or capsule whole. Do not break, crush, or chew. Prepare your medication away from food and food prep areas. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is already almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose. If you are unable to swallow the pill, speak with your nurse or doctor about other ways to take your medication.
