"The tank cleaning or “stinging” work is a good example. In 1997, the work was done with a pressure truck, a manually operated “stinger” which fluidized the sand for removal, and conventional vacuum trucks. Since then, we have developed a hydraulic stinger, and use either tri-axle semi-trailer vacuum units or custom designed sand transport vehicles. These vehicles, especially the sand transport vehicles, have a much larger payload. Many of these units also have an on-board pressure pump, eliminating the need for a separate pressure truck. "

It looks as if the function of the pressure truck is to transport the pressure pump? (If you have the pump installed on the other equipment then you don't need to have a separate pressure truck...)
