"A/C systems that place a constraint on a process variable (such as forces, torque, or temperature) are called adaptive control constraint (ACC) systems.Thus, if the thrust force and the cutting force (and hence the torque) increase excessively (for example, because of the presence of a hard region in a casting), the adaptive control system changes the depth of cut or the feed to lower the cutting force to an acceptable level"

اذن كلمة constraint
في هذا السياق معناها أن هذا النوع من أنواع التحكم مقيد أو محدد ، القيود تختلف قد تكون ذات علاقة بالعزم بالقوة الخ

اذن من غير الصواب نسبة التكيف الى الضبط بالقول
نظام تحكم متكيف الضبط

عموما الشرح أعلاه أمر متوقع تماما فالمصطلح : النحكم التكيفي ، أو المتكيف ،
adaptive control
هو علم قائم بحد ذاته وهاتين الكلمتين تعاملان غالبا كمصطلح واحد ، أي إن التكيف ينسب دائما للتحكم
وليس لشيء آخر
