English term

blocks

English to Swedish Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation
Blocks förekommer i en handbok för en synkrongenerator i avsnittet om kylning:

COOLING
The type of CACW cooler fitted to this machine has a stack or stacks of finned tubes mounted in a steel housing on top of the machine. The housing guides the internal air through the stack or stacks, and returns it to the machine.
Removing the housing from the machine does NOT give access to the stacks so, unless the housing has to be removed for other reasons, it should be left in position.
The stacks are removable. To do this, the water supply must be turned off, and the cooler drained and disconnected. When this has been done undo the outer set of fixings around the stack endplate at the water connection end, and it should be possible to slide the stack out on its mounting rails. Holes for lifting shackles are provided in the stack frame.
Set the stack up on blocks under the frame, NOT the fins, so that there is space all round it and blow the fins out with clean dry compressed air at not more than 1.5 bar g. Too high a pressure will damage the fins. Alternatively, especially if the dirt is oily, the fins may be sprayed with a warm detergent solution, but if this is done, dry the stack afterwards with air before it is replaced in the housing.

Det är väl bara två översättningar som det kan gälla? Antingen Block eller Klossar. Alltså att man ska ställa upp tornet på block (eller klossar).
