French term

attestation de mise sous régime

French to English Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation
From an electricity supply equipment contract:

"La signature du Chargé de Travaux sur "l’attestation de mise sous régime" mentionnée au paragraphe "Chargé de consignation de l'Entreprise - Attestation de mise sous régime" l’engage à respecter le recueil et les consignes de sécurité du site."

...

"A tout moment, l'Entreprise a la possibilité d’interrompre les opérations sur le matériel object de la mise sous régime, et, si nécessaire, de suspendre le régime correspondant."

I'm not quite sure exactly how this phrase would be expressed in such a contract in English. Any help greatly appreciated.

Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Jun 5, 2005:
I meant to say that I was thinking of using "certificate of procedure", but I'm not certain about this.
Any thoughts?

(report of) steady-state operation

This is a previous KudoZ answer referring to nuclear plants. The answerer says:
"This is not legal but rather nuclear power generation language. The "attestation" is apparently a certificate that the plant is running at its normal level."

Hope it helps.

2 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Clare: whilst I suspect that this is correct, I have no way of knowing for sure and so can only award 2 points on this occasion. Thanks for your help"

request for OHSA lockout

Here, the 'régime' has nothing to do with the 'speed' meaning.

This is all about the safety lockout (consignation) procedure, and my client tells me that this is the EN equivalent document.

Note that OHSA and OSHA appear in roughly equal numbers on the 'Net, but I believe this is the correct version (OHASAS 18001 is a UK Health & Safety standard)
