• Oil Based Varnish EC 5123 serve two important functions which is to give gloss visual presentation of the printed matter and to provide print protection.
• Oil Based Varnish EC 5123 can be printed onto most papers and boards used for cartons, wrappers, general print and display work. The level of glossiness will be depending on the paper substrate.

Sammelbegriff für nicht pigmentierte Anstrichstoffe aus trocknenden Ölen oder Harzlösungen (z.B. Leinölfirnis, Harzfirnis) mit Sikkativen. Die wichtigen Ölfirnisse dienen als Bindemittel für Ölfarben und Grundierungsmittel, Lackfirnisse enthalten außer dem Öl noch Natur- oder Kunstharze, ölfreie Firnisse auf der Basis von Naturharzen dienen zum Überziehen von Gemälden (Gemäldefirnis).
