Spanish term

tabla de alejamiento/acercamiento

Spanish to English Science Meteorology Hurricanes
This is taken from a Mexican hurricane emergency response plan. It is referring to the table that tracks the tail end of the tropical cyclone (alejamiento) and its front (acercamiento).

Thanks!

Yes, Phil this is precisely it. Would those be the terms, though? I can't seem to find them used in English. I keep finding hurricane "tracks" for tracking the hurricane.

Never mind I've found it myself:

Departure and approach, presumably, but please could we have the Spanish context.

departure/approach table

These are tables showing the hazard level when a hurricane reaches various distances as it arrives and departs. I don't think there's any specific name for them in English - I live in a hurricane zone and I've never seen one.
