Source text - English ATX is attractive for investments, but the crisis is not over yet.
In the end of 2008, the Vienna Stock Exchange and its leading index, the ATX, have come under enormous pressure of global financial crisis. Compared to other international indices, the ATX fell enormously since the beginning of 2008. International investors equate CEE’s growth risks to the risks evident in today’s stock markets. It is for this reason that markets with a lower capitalization are under greater pressure as a consequence of equity weightings in the investors' portfolios being slashed. Despite the earnings revision, the assessments remain high. Should a phase of stabilization emerge, then a short-lived recovery seems possible even in 2008. Analysts believe that there are basically two realistically feasible scenarios: the economy slipping into temporary or lasting recession, with the chances being 50 to 50.

В конце 2008 года Венская биржа и ее ведущий индекс, ATX, оказался под большим давлением глобального финансового кризиса. Сравнительно с другими международными индексами, ATX значительно упал
с начала 2008 года. Международные инвесторы сравнивают растущие риски CEE с явными рисками на теперешних фондовых рынках. По этой причине рынки с низкой капитализацией находятся под большим давлением как следствие снижение веса акций в портфелях инвесторов. Несмотря на пересмотр прибыли, высокими остаются суммы обложения. Если возникнет фаза стабилизации, окажется возможным краткосрочное оживление даже в 2008г. Ф Аналитики считают, что существуют два основных реально возможных сценария: экономика продвигается к временной или постоянной рецессии с шансами 50 на 50.
