Source text - English Even being in the opposite side of the world, our team was fully aware of the technological advancements available in South Korea thanks to the specialists from the Lima Metro Line 2 Supervision contract and due to having master's studies. The deciding factor to apply was that said scholarship took place in Korea, the country I had the pleasure to visit in 2019 during a vacation trip attracted by the culture and the desire to learn more about the nation of several friends whom I admired and appreciated so much. That faraway land that for some reason, despite the distance, felt so close.

Korea has always presented itself as a friendly helping hand. During my stay I have had the opportunity to meet many Korean individuals who have gifted me with their friendship and support, people who became endearing and with whom I'm grateful for their backup.

한국은 저에게 항상 친절한 도움의 손길을 내밀어주는 곳이라고 느낍니다. 저는 이곳에 지내면서 저에게 친밀함과 지원을 아끼지 않은 여러 한국인들을 만날 수 있었는데, 이 사람들은 저에게 애틋한 존재가 되었으며, 제가 받은 지원에 그분들께 정말 감사한 마음을 갖고 있습니다.

In addition to the regular coursework, the students take part in several other activities such as field trips, forum discussions, internships and cultural exchanges. Similar to how one single content creator makes an impact in the lives of many subscribers, the graduates of this program return to their home countries and contribute to advancing the well-being of their nation's people by applying what they have learned in Korea into their work.

Since MIPD's start in August 2018, approximately 60 remarkably talented individuals, including the most recent 3rd cohort, have graduated from the program. The essays of this booklet have recorded vivid memoirs of what participants have learned and experienced in Korea.
