Greetings
As I spend an extremely high proportion of my time speaking and studying Turkish and Persian, I sometimes find myself getting confused and forgetting words I really shouldn't.
This happened the other day when I was with some friends, and I wanted to say to them, “I think I must be overloading my brain!” (half-jokingly, half-seriously i.e. şakayla karışık, Sadri Alışık)
Please, how can I express this idea?
Best wishes, and many thanks,
Simon

beyni durmak
For the situation you describe I think I would use "beynim durdu"- i.e. you overload it and it stops "working"...

Sadri Alışık would definitely say so!
If not mistaken he did say so in one of his films.
"Torik" means "brain" in Turkish slang. If you are among friends and saying this jokingly, you can/should use this one.
