Source text - English Whilst we're on the subject of drama and atmosphere, it has to be said that XXX does look and sound the business. As with all of XX's big hitting franchises at the moment, top end production values and brilliant visuals seem to come as standard. By and large, the environments are impressively detailed (although some of the textures in the jungle sections don't stand up so well to close scrutiny), but it's the animation that really shines. One particularly nice little touch is that enemies all have 'death faces'; their facial expressions actually change as you riddle their bodies with lead. It's a fairly small detail, but one of many that make XXX a really engaging experience. The sound effects are worth a mention too, as they add heaps of atmosphere.
Translation - Spanish Y ya que estamos con el tema de la ambientación y del dramatismo, hay que decir que XXX cumple todas las expectativas. Como ocurre en las grandes franquicias de XX actuales, destacan tanto el aire de superproducción como los magníficos gráficos. En general, los entornos son muy detallados (aunque algunas de las texturas de la jungla no resistirían un examen más minucioso), pero lo que sin duda descuella es la animación. Otro toque especial es que los enemigos ponen una "cara de muerto" muy lograda cuando los acribillas. Es un detalle que no tiene mucha importancia pero, unido a otros, acaba enganchándote. Los efectos de sonido también merecen una mención especial porque crean una atmósfera muy dramática.

Terminada mi licenciatura universitaria en Traducción e Interpretación en la Universidad de Alicante (España), completé un periodo de formación de seis meses en SDL International. Como traductora de agencia desarrollé la habilidad de trabajar bajo presión y con plazos de entrega estrictos, así como la capacidad para atender a los detalles.
Durante la carrera me especialicé en traducción jurídica escrita y ante los tribunales, interés sobre el que he profundizado posteriormente asistiendo a varios cursos y congresos de especialización y preparándome el examen para el Diploma de interpretación ante los servicios públicos (rama: tribunales) de Inglaterra y Gales, que obtuve en 2005. Asimismo, en 2003 el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores español me nombró Intérprete Jurado de inglés.
En la actualidad, soy traductora e intérprete autónoma. Realizo traducciones juradas entre el inglés y el español (certificados de antecedentes penales, testamentos, sentencias judiciales, contratos, diplomas académicos, etc.) y he actuado como intérprete de enlace ante los tribunales y notarías españoles. Having finished my 4-year degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Alicante (Spain), I completed a 6-month traineeship at SDL International. As an agency translator, I developed the ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines and was able to strengthen my attention to detail.
During my university studies I specialized in written legal translation and court interpreting. I have further developed my interest in this field by attending several specialized conferences and courses and also by training for the Diploma for Public Service Interpreting (English law) in England and Wales, which I obtained in 2005. In 2003, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs awarded me the Legal Interpreter authorization between English and Spanish.
I am currently working as a freelance translator and interpreter. I do certified legal translations between English and Spanish (Criminal Records, Last Will and Testaments, Court Rulings, Contracts, Academic Diplomas, etc.) and I have worked as a liaison interpreter for the Spanish courts and Notary offices. I translate and interpret commercial, technical and legal texts from English, French, Catalan and Spanish for agencies and private individuals. I mainly work in the localization field translating web content and software, as well as in the legal field (civil, criminal and estate law).
All of my translations have an impeccable language quality and formatting. It is my belief that good communication with the client beforehand is essential to the success of the project as it allows for better troubleshooting and hence results in the quality assurance of the project before delivery.
