Testaferro As I understand it, a "nominee" in these cases is a person appointed by a shareholder to occupy a seat on the Board of Directors. In the case of shell companies, the nominee is often an attorney in the firm that set up the company. So if you find that the same attorney is the Chair of 200 companies, it's a clear indication that they are shell companies.
So it is more than just "nombrado" or "nominado".
I think "testaferro" might better reflect what is going on, and what the document in question is trying to say.
