I am a doctoral student at the Pontifical Lateran University, working on a philosophical thesis on philosopher Alvin Plantinga. I live and work full time in Rome as a professional translator, a profession I've carried out for five years now. I have worked with several local universities, as well as individual authors, in the translation of their books and scholarly articles. I outsource on occasion to a network of trained colleagues, each in their own specialty field. I am married and have four children. The Church and the life of faith plays an important part in my life.
I enjoy translation as it allows me to continue the pursuit of knowledge in the most disparate fields, and falls in well with my love of language, words and writing. I have always written well, and am glad to be able to hone this craft as a profession, which helps me moreover in my own scholarly writing, which has been published on www.zenit.org, as well as in a university journal.
