Hello Reader,

My name is Ece and I am a professional translator/interpreter in EN-TR language pair holding a BA in Translation Studies.

Although I am quite enthusiastic about Advertising/Marketing and Literary translations as there is room for my imagination, I am highly qualified in translation of legal and medical texts supported by classes I chose to take during my studies.

I graduated from school in 2016 and I have been translating freelance since my 3rd year in school. My experiences are based mostly on legal translation such as lease contracts, articles of organization and notarial documents. Being raised by lawyer parents inevidently contributed to my strong command in legal parlence in Turkish language. I have an obsessive personality which I try to channel to researching. This approach helps me finish my works only satisfied.

Along with working freelance in translation, I have also been working in house in different sectors that is mostly food and beverage. I have strong communication skills and I love providing quality service therefore I chose to work in food and beverage sector. I have worked under titles differing from server to operations manager in different countries which ultimately added hard-earned experiences in life as well as business and language skills.

I have traveled alone in North America, Europe and Asia since I was as young as 19 years old which helped me gain and structure what I believe is one of the most important skills in life; looking from different perspectives. I apply this skill to every step I take in life including professional acts.Consequently, I believe I create unique and favourable work at whatever I do.
All above statements are the main reason why I want to keep pursuing my career in languages as it enables me to communicate with people in a shared language.

I will never stop exploring my skills and pushing my limits.
