原文文本 - English英语 A major part of this research concerns assessing the benefits the nursery placement has for the children and the parents involved. To measure the benefits the programme has for the children, we will be assessing children shortly before they begin their preschool placement and again at the end of the school year. This will be done using standard assessment tools by trained research staff who have enhanced disclosure clearance. We are also asking parents to complete short questionnaires on their children’s behaviour, on the daily hassles of parenting and on their own well-being, in order to evaluate possible programme benefits to parents. One of our researchers will be there to help parents fill out the questionnaires, for example read out the questions, if required.
