The column is used to indicate whether the line/row in the statement is an entry used to correct (or reverse) a previously over-stated/under-stated entry. 冲帐-- correct a previously over-stated entry; 补帐 -- correct a previously under-stated entry.

reverse an entry = 冲账
As shown in the link, 冲账 means reverse an entry instead of correct the same. The Chinese definition expressly shows that an entry is reversed in full amount by a parallel red-colored one. It does not mean correction in part. It means reversal in whole.
