Spanish term or phrase: BIOPSIA ANTERIOR del MATERNO
This appears in a Pathology Lab report under the Clinical Data heading. It is for a gentleman who has a previous sarcoma, but I cannot figure out what MATERNO is in this case. Could it possible refer to the previous sarcoma, i.e., synonomous with "original"?

Frontal Biopsy

Explanation:
Literal definition:
(This would be the clinical exact translation)
Frontal biopsy (Anterior as in direction as opposed to posterior - rear or back, does not indicate)

But (Anterior) it could also mean previous,
without further information it could be either one and taken out of context...

If the word "Previa" = (meaning "Previous") is anywhere in the document then I would make the educated guess that they are using the word (Anterior) in the context of frontal as in the position of the body versus previous.

In reference to the term "Materno"
It could also mean that it is a new growth stemming from a remnant of the original Sarcoma.

Without the full document it is difficult to determine.
