原文文本 - English英语 Measurements up to 100 GΩ can be made without any special precautions, assuming that the test leads are reasonably clean and dry. The guard lead can be used to remove the effects of surface leakage if necessary. When measuring resistances above 100 GΩ, the test leads should not be allowed to touch each other, or any other object since this will introduce leakage paths. Sharp points at the test lead connections should also be avoided since this will encourage corona discharge.
The output is isolated, and so will float relative to ground such that the positive terminal is at plus half of the test voltage, and the negative terminal is at minus half of the test voltage with respect to ground. Leakages therefore occur between the positive terminal and ground, between the negative terminal and ground, and directly between the positive and negative terminals. These leakages have a significant effect and can occur through the air itself.

Aptly, it is an echo of Homer’s timeless Odyssey that introduces Loreena McKennitt’s seventh studio recording, the latest volume in a project she describes as “musical travel writing”. This time, the journey takes her in search of the Celts’ easternmost paths, from the plains of Mongolia to the kingdom of King Midas and the Byzantine Empire. Along the way, she muses on the concepts of home, of travel in all its incarnations, of the cultural intermingling that underpins human history and our universal legacies of conflict and hope.
Recorded at Real World Studios and featuring a host of acclaimed musicians, the album proffers a treasure trove of instruments, from harp, hurdy-gurdy and accordion to oud, lyra, kanoun and nyckelharpa (the Scandinavian keyed fiddle). Highlights include the seductive rhythms and Silk Road influences of first single “Caravanserai”; “Penelope’s Song”, a paean to steadfast love; and Loreena’s musical setting of Sir Walter Scott’s poem of star-crossed romance, “The English Ladye And The Knight”. Loreena McKennitt’s new recording, An Ancient Muse, released worldwide in November
Loreena McKennitt’s seventh studio album, An Ancient Muse, will be released worldwide on November 21.
The album, which was produced by Loreena and recorded at Real World Studios in England and features a host of internationally acclaimed musical guests and exotic instrumentation, takes the listener on a journey from the Scottish borders to the caravanserais of the Silk Road and the wine-dark seas of Homer’s Odyssey.
As with her earlier albums, Loreena takes her inspiration from the Celtic peoples, fusing the melodic sensibility of Scottish and Irish balladry with musical traditions from Greece, Turkey, Spain and even Scandinavia. The recording is McKennitt’s first new studio album since 1997’s The Book of Secrets, a multi-platinum success worldwide.
