I have never had to use this term before, but, as a test, just dictated it without problem in Trados 2014 using DNS 12.5. Dragon really is surprisingly good at these terms (and I suspect it has become even better in the newer versions). It is rather prudish though (it can't cope with any word in a rush of expletives, thank goodness). As for DNS in a CAT tool - it does speed things up, and with proper use of termbases you can't really put a foot wrong.

I had to answer "other" because I don't know, and I haven't tried it, yet. But I do think a lot about it. I only didn't take time for a trial. I will, however, do it soon, because I think it's a type of "insurance" in our lives. If anything happens that impairs the traditional typing translation, we have an excellent alternative. So I will surely start that soon, and practice it. I'm 50 now, and I cannot afford to waste time with this kind of thing. Retirement for us is something very unstable a... See more
