Hi oroborus,
Can you please indicate where you get this error?
Sounds like an operating system issue to me.

Best regards,

Admin rights? Oct 4, 2005

Hi again,
You didn't indicate where (=in which program) the error message was displayed.

You need administrator rights on your system to install software - are you using an admin account?

Best, Ralf

Unzip the archive with folder structure Oct 4, 2005

Unzip the archive with folder structure and try installing from this folder, not directly from the archive.

I am not quite sure what you mean so I will list what I know. I am pretty bad with computer lingo.

The program is Trado 6.5 freelance

I get the message during Installwizard Shield wizard

It says the the programm will be saved to C:Program Files

It is from a file Win RAR

I'm not sure if this is what you were looking foo. Thanks for your time.

Looks like Wojciech is right... Oct 4, 2005

...if you have downloaded the software, the files are in a compressed ("zipped") archive. You must extract them first (to a temporary folder), then you can install from there (usually by starting setup.exe).

Best regards,
Ralf

Update your system Oct 5, 2005

I encountered similar reading problem when shutting down my PC. After updating my Windows 2000, it works perfectly. Maybe it resulted from a malicious code.

You can run Windows Update from Start menu, and then defragment your hard disk before installation. Any disk sector error may cause the reading error.
