非常感谢大家的帮助！我觉得根据上下文details这个单词在这里不是零件的意思。我猜可能是“细节化服务”的意思，但我也不能下定论。不过，根据上下文，我最后将这部分译为：“目前，我们客户产品的拼装生产和喷涂均由分包商提供。但是，许多客户已经明确表示：他们对目前供应商提供的喷涂服务不满意并且常常因此而遭到投诉。” 对于没有翻译“details"这个词，我也觉得很遗憾，但实在是不得已而为之。

不管这个词了，重点是，buying details to 这个部分，to 不妥当的。如果意思是想说，有关后面那些东西的资料，那么，"to" should be replaced by "towards".

我搜了一下，也没找到。看来是我有点想当然了。不好意思，想出这个词又忘了去验证。但这里的lego的确跟这家拼装玩具公司的确没关系。因为文中列出了Alucrom公司的现有客户和潜在客户，没有Lego的名字。

谢谢您跟我讨论！我觉得 lego-manufactured 是一个组合词，这里跟lego这个公司没关系（若有关系，lego 也应该大写才对），我觉得lego-manufactured 在这里表示拼装生产。有一些客户（比如汽车生产商）的产品，可能也需要在中国先进行拼装生产，然后再进行喷涂。这两种服务以前都由分包商提供，但那些客户对分包商的喷涂服务不满意，因此现在Alucrom抢到了这些客户，并即将为他们提供喷涂服务。

因为该公司要在中国建喷涂厂，我想他们现在在中国已经联系了一些客户，或者还有一些潜在客户（也即文中所称的“our coustomer")，但是目前这些客户的产品的拼装生产和喷涂都是由分包商提供的。这是我对 their production lego-manufactured and painted by sub-contractors的理解。而buying details 呢？我猜可能是指这些客户花钱购买的细节化服务（即拼装生产和喷涂服务）。不知道这样的理解是否正确。
原文是从瑞典文翻译过来的，有的东西已经lost in translation了，所以翻译这样的文章时翻译的确得具备很好的侦破能力才行。:)
