The Middle & Senior School is divided into eight vertically arranged Houses with students from each year level. Each is a ‘mini school’ of its own, complete with Head (House Dean) and Assistant Teachers, Senior Prefect (Head of House) and Captains (Year 13) of the various activities.
House Deans are responsible for the organisation and management of their House. Responsibilities range from monitoring academic progress to social well-being and for maintaining close links with parents regarding their son’s progress and welfare.

"eight vertically arranged Houses with students from each year level"这里说明得很清楚是按年级高低排列的，不是平行排列的，所以应当和我们的年段概念是一样的。Head 大概就是“段长”，Senior Prefect 大概就是“年段主任”，Captains是来自13年级的学生，可译为“领队”。
