I am a graduate translator and studied at the University of Mainz/Germany. The main focus of my studies was on technical translation but I also dealt with literary texts, certificates and general issues. As I am very interested in engineering, especially automotive engineering, I wrote my dissertation (submitted for diploma) about airbag technology and related Chinese-German/German-Chinese vocabulary. Beside the precise translation style a technical document requires, I also like free translation, e.g. for jobs that require a certain level of copywriting. I deepened my knowledge during one year of freelance translation in Germany and one year of project management in an international translation agency in Shanghai (China).
