Project background:
It is not a precedent to establish a joint science and technology vocational school (profession) in the history of Sino-Australian education system and the practice. The purpose of Sino Foreign Joint Education is to help and improve China's vocational education and training in order to adapt to current society and recruitment requirement, to provide graduates with a broader re-education opportunity and firm foundation for a more reasonable and practical choice of future career; as for successive graduates or for those young people who have jobs but want to change or re-choose a career, it would also provides a short-term vocational training program before they could choose their favorite jobs. The internationalization of vocational education requires us working harder with constant innovation to realize.
Sino-Australian joint education project will be cooperated between China's vocational education institutions (universities) and Australia's largest and most influential technical and vocational education institution - institute of TAFE, in addition to the introduction into China’s vocational education system of successful teaching practice from Australia, to provide professional and technical personnel to China’s job market, and in combination of Australian and other countries’s job needs, the program would train and create high potential personnel and talents for the job bank, and this type of vocational and professional education will be established regularly in a suitable location accordingly.
With the contribution and participation of China’s economic construction and further development of China’s One Belt One Road strategy in the world, demanding for techinical talents is increasing, and high demand for technical talents as well as the rapid development of internationalization, that will be a new target and challenge for China’s vocational and techinical education. The Sino-Australian joint vocational education will present to China’s education market and Training of vocational talents a brand new education and practice model.
