A trust is a legal relationship between a trustee and a settlor, by which the settlor transfers his assets to the trustee and which binds the trustee to administer these assets in the best interests of the beneficiaries of the trust.
The overriding duty of a trustee under law is to manage the trust’s assets and to otherwise act in the best interest of the beneficiaries.
A failure in that fiduciary duty could expose the trustee to liability for a breach of trust and hold the trustee responsible by the beneficiaries for any resultant loss.
In case of a relatively simple trust established for family succession planning purposes, the beneficiaries will generally include the settlor and his family members but could also include a charity or other individuals.

WITH so vast a subject, it is indeed a difficult task to summarize in a few hundred words what I consider the – most basic ideas on which those who seek a true understanding of metaphysics should now concentrate.
I shall do what I can in the shape of three fundamentals. These fundamentals are: Self-Observation, Definition of Aim, and Detachment.
The purpose of true metaphysics is to bring about a rebirth or radical psychological change in the individual. Such a change cannot take place until the individual first discovers the self that he would change.
This discovery can be made only through an uncritical observation of his reactions to life. The sum total of these reactions defines the individual's state of consciousness, and it is the individual's state of consciousness that attracts the situations and circumstances of his life.
So the starting point of true metaphysics, on its practical side, is self-observation in order to discover one's reactions to life, reactions which form one's secret self – the cause of the phenomena of life.
With Emerson, I accept the fact that “Man surrounds himself with the true image of himself . . . what we are, that only can we see."
There is a definite connection between what is outer and what is inner in man, and it is ever our inner states that attract our outer life. Therefore, the individual must always start with himself.

By late 70s of the 20th century, Xinjiang was still a region where the economy consists essentially of agriculture and animal husbandry.
For people living in Xinjiang, almost no one would have anticipated the changes of the next thirty years.
Trivial in length of time, yet it was a period of golden age and completely transformed the landscape of the region.
Today, Xinjiang has bid farewell to the traditional dominance of its agri-pastoral economy, and the process of urbanization is taking hold turning more and more herders / farmers to city dwellers.
The name of Xinjiang used to be associated with remoteness, under-developed and inaccessibility.
However, since 1949, the Central Government has initiated a series of western development programs, and tremendous changes have taken place.
Today, Xinjiang can be counted as a developed province in China, though many people not familiar with the facts still think that the region depends mainly on an agro-pastoral system.
The changes not only surprise people from outside of Xinjiang, but also those living in it.
Support from the Central Government has been stepping up steadily for all the western provinces and a large number of projects for water conservancy, transportation and energy have been initiated or completed.
Over the last decade or so, the completion of Lan-Xin Railway Dual Track and the Northern Xinjiang Railway has broken the bottleneck of the region’s communications to west and east. Major infrastructure projects for roads, civil aviation, water conservancy, communication and electricity are setting the foundation for further development.
Xinjiang, the western border region of China, after three decades of reform and opening-up, now stands at the forefront of China’s westward opening up. It has close trade ties with central and south-west Asia and Russia. The Silk Road, once silent, has regained its former dynamism and prosperity.
At the same time of rapid development, a priority tops the agenda of the Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region: the settlement of those still leading a nomadic life.
By tradition, Kazak herdsmen in the remote areas of Xinjiang lived a transhumant life style, they had no fixed abode but seasonally migrate to where grass and water were adequate.

"New" by its name, Xinjiang (meaning New Frontier in Chinese) was nevertheless an old territory of the Han and Tang Dynasties, and even predated some provinces within the Great Wall in terms of being brought under the rein of the Central Government due to its strategic importance.
Geographically Xinjiang is a landlocked region and at the same time right at the middle of the great thoroughfare between the East and West, giving rise to its thriving diversity of ethnic cultures, and sometimes yield a sense of inapprehension or misapprehension in people’s perception of Xinjiang.
However, by delving into the history of Xinjiang, it will be easy to find that Xinjiang has never been distant for a Chinese either in point of time or space.
It is impossible to read the history of Xinjiang in any exclusive perspective; a variety of written languages once existed here attesting to the collective stories of its people.
Xinjiang was originally inhabited by many ancient tribes of various origins.
These peoples were first clearly documented at the time of the Han Dynasty (206 BCE - 220 CE), mainly including the Sai, Yuezhi, Wusun, Qiang, Xiongnu and Han Chinese.
In 60 BCE, the Western Han Dynasty unified the region and set up a Frontier Command marking the formal inclusion of the Western Regions into Han Dynasty territory, making it an integral part of a unified multi-ethnic country - China.
Located in the center of the Euro-Asia plate, Xinjiang possesses many wonders of Nature’s masterwork.
Here the mountains and grasslands, lakes and basins, glaciers and deserts form the most spectacular landscape on earth.
The world's tallest mountains assemble in the Pamirs known as "father of mountains and source of waters." The Eurasian steppe – the world's largest - extends eastward from here to the foothills of Daxing'anling and westward through Central Asia and Russia to the Danube River.
Glaciers and snowcaps melt into the torrents of rivers that flow to the Pacific, Indian Ocean and the Arctic Ocean.
Oasises dotting the banks of the rivers in the Tarim desert were once pregnant with original civilizations.
The Silk Road navigated through the mountains connecting China and the West.
This was a place where the civilizations at both ends of the Eurasian continent met and passed on their messages, a hub where different ethnic groups crisscrossed in their way of migration and integration.

Final assembly is the last step of the production process before the airplane rolls out of the factory on its way to the paint hangar. The 1,000th airplane – a 767-300ER (extended range) passenger model – is the last 767 to complete final assembly in its current home.
Beginning with line number 1001 – also a 767-300ER for ANA – all future 767s will complete that step in a new, smaller bay where production is scheduled to increase in 2011.
The 1,000th airplane is scheduled for delivery next month. ANA, a long-time Boeing customer, has taken delivery of 89 767s since placing its first order in 1979.
Boeing will use the 767 as the platform for its NewGen Tanker if it wins the U.S. Air Force KC-X Tanker competition. That contract award currently is scheduled for early this year.

Technological advances in well completion and workover operations have involved the development of more advanced chemicals to aid in the efficient completion of these tasks.
Chemicals used in well completion include fluids used to drill the final portion of the wellbore and cement modifiers.
Workover techniques and chemicals are similar to those of well completion.
Well completion follows testing to determine the potential commercial productivity of the well.
The first step in completion is to insert a large outside pipe or casing that extends the full depth of the well.
Cement is then forced between the outside of the casing and the drilling hole.
This is done to prevent the walls of the hole from caving in and to prevent contamination of fresh water in upper sands by oil and brine from lower zones.
Following cementing, the solid casing must be perforated at appropriate depths to allow oil or gas to enter the well.
Perforation of both the cement lining and well casing is accomplished by explosive perforator devices lowered into the well.
There are three primary types of well completions: open-hole, casing and drainhole.
In open-hole completions, the casing is landed and cemented above the reservoir, and the hole is subsequently drilled deeper into the prospective reservoir.

Gonorrhoea is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) affecting primarily the urethra in males and the vagina in females.
The condition is caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae (also known as Gonococcus).
Infection is transmitted from one person to another through sexual activity (genital contact) and the bacteria can infect the mucous membranes of the urogenital tract, rectum, pharynx and conjunctivae.
The incubation period is 2 to 30 days but typically symptoms will occur 4 to 6 days after infection.
Gonococci attach to the host mucosal cells and, within 1 to 2 days, penetrate through and between cells into the sub-epithelial space.
A typical host response is characterised by invasion by neutrophils, flowed by epithelial sloughing, formation of submucosal micro-abscesses and purulent discharge.
If untreated, macrophage and lymphocyte infiltration replaces the neutrophils.
Some strains cause asymptomatic infection which leads to an asymptomatic carrier state in persons of either sex.
The ability to grow anaerobically allows gonococci, when mixed with refluxed menstrual blood or attachment to sperm, to secondarily invade lower genital tract structures and progress to the upper genital organs (endometrium, ovaries).
Serious complications of gonorrhoea occur more frequently in women.
Gonorrhoea is curable but if left untreated it can cause serious health problems such as infertility, meningitis and septicaemia.
Infection appears concentrated in specific groups which are defined by levels of sexual risk and patterns of sexual mixing.
Epidemiology
Gonorrhoea is a common bacterial STD, second only in prevalence to chlamydia.

常练“虎爪”养气血
“虎爪(Tiger Claw)”，就是五指抓地的形象。
做虎爪时，五个手指的指尖用力，可把手掌中间的劳宫穴打开。
从中医的角度来说，做虎爪这个动作时，五个手指的指尖用力，就把手掌中间的劳宫穴打开了。
中医将十个指尖称为“十宣”，十宣是人体气血最薄的地方，也是阴阳交汇之所。
十宣打开了，全身气血都能动起来。
所以，“虎爪”这个动作很重要，是健身气功里的一个基本动作。
日常生活中，我们可以运用“虎爪”这个动作来锻炼身体。
十指相敲养肝气
十指相敲法，就是两只手成“虎爪”状，十指相对，互相敲击。
这么做能很好地锻炼手指上的井穴，既提高了手的灵活性，也养了肝气。
女性的阳气相对不足，容易手脚冰凉，可经常十指相敲，促进血脉通到四肢末梢。

"Tiger Claw" exercise for nurturing blood and qi
The words of "Tiger Claw” should conjure up an image of five fingers gripping the ground.
In the practice, the fingertips receive focused energy that would unlock the Laogong acupoint in the center of the palm.
According to TCM, the Tiger Claw exercise effects a concentration of energy in the fingertips that can open up the Laogong acupoint at the center of the palm.
In TCM, the ten fingertips are collectively referred to as Ten Xuan, being the converging points of yin and yang where the qi and blood lack the most.
By focusing on the flow of qi and blood to the Ten Xuan points, circulation of blood will be systemically improved.
Therefore, "Tiger Claw" exercise is very important, a basic movement in Health Qigong.
In daily life, we can use “Tiger Claw" for our physical fitness exercise.
Ten fingers knocking each other to nourish liver qi
The method consists of the two hands forming tiger claws facing each other with fingertips touching and knocking.
This exercise will work out the well point on the fingers, improving the agility of the hand as well as the liver qi.
There is a relative lack of yang qi in women resulting in cold hands and feet. The regular practice of knocking fingers will improve circulation of blood in the extremities of the limbs.
