I'm a sucker for portable computers. So when I saw the new MacBook in the Amsterdam Apple Store yesterday, I was a little excited. I had already read the rather positive reviews in some online magazines, but I was curious about the screen size and especially the new keyboard. The keyboard felt good. And I liked the size of the individual keys.

You, the guy with at least two 27" iMacs?! Methink you're a sucker for anything white and shiny with a big fruit logo on it

Why wouldn't it be? Running a CAT tool isn't rocket science. I'd personally prefer a MacBook Air, but to each their own.

Only one iMac May 11, 2015

I only have one iMac (and a Thunderbolt display).

Regarding the MacBook: the keys are bigger and compared to the 11" MBA the 12" MB has a bigger screen, with a higher resolution.

Regarding the available resources: yes, on paper they look all right. CafeTran isn't exactly hungry for resources.
