Hi, guys. I\'ve been asked if I can work with HTML, FrameMaker and Help files. I\'ve worked with HTML files before using Dreamweaver. What SW can be used to work with FrameMaker and help files besides Trados?
TIA
Vanina

can easily handle all of these file formats (and more) without the nasty plug-ins and filters that Trados requires and is (almost) devoid of the bugs that plagues Trados. A few user-friendly steps and you\'re done. Customer support is also superb. (I once reported a conversion problem and I got a solution the same day for free)

You can even download a free version of Déjà Vu from http://www.atril.com/ for 30 days. I highly recommend it. ▲ Collapse

Absolutely agree. It\'s a shame Deja Vu is not advertised more aggressively in the translators\' community. Really, they should launch \"Deja Vu awareness campaigns\".

Although DV handles these formats pretty well, I believe that SDL is the easiest one out there.
I translate regularly all the formats you mentioned, and with SDL, it\'s a breeze.
One of its features I like most is the Translation preview.
For Framemaker or HTML, this is just great!
