On the cover page of every patent in the world, there are little numbers before each piece of information. These fields have titles, but ican\'t find a list of what all of the fields mean. Some are clear, like [72]: Inventor, but others aren\'t.
I am interested in both US patents and European patents.

After doing some more searching, I came up with the WIPO site, who I gather is the arbiter of these things. Lots of good patent info, including patent formatting, country codes, and lots of other goodies.
