This amazing software makes even CDRs uable for backups.

By the way you can not erase CDRWs eternally they can be recoreded thousands and thousands of times but not forever.

WinOnCD has special options for regualr backups of your importnat files (USes multisession mode) To save space on CD it burns again only new files which have been changed since last update.

We have used EasyCD Creator, Nero and have chosen WinOnCD as the best.

Or use Adaptec DIrect CD for Packet UDF formatting as other posters sugegst.

In any case CDRWs are not as simple as floppies and some UDF CDs can be unreadable on other systems than yours. We had such problems in this year.

Have a nice day and good luck

It is right as far you do not do something against. If you use UDF-format simply download the UDF-Reader software from Ahead homepage (www.ahead.de) and copy this then on a floppy disk. With this floppy with you you are able to make any (almost) operating system to be able to read UDF.

It is everytime advisable to get so much information as possible before stating, that something does not work...

Best

UDF CDs are not all the same Oct 23, 2002

We had troubles with CDRs writeen with HP Drives using some variance of UDF.

It will defenitely be incompatible with DOS for instance.

Anyway there is no need to have the drivers on floppy because the software usually writes it in some hidden portion of CD to be used when neccessary
