我觉得要是号召性很强的文章，可以用关乎存亡，共命运之类的字眼，如果想笼统一些，核心支柱等就差不多有这层意思了

一般说企业的核心都用core这个词，既然这里用了heartbeat, 我觉得翻译的时候不妨用个相对直接的译法把强烈的语气表达出来，过于一般化（比如只翻译成核心）可能有点undertranslation
